The Cultural Resources Compliance Section (CRCS) coordinates consultations involving cultural resources and issues permits to conduct cultural resource investigations and collect ethnographic information on the Navajo Nation Reservation. Program staff facilitates the BIA’s compliance with tribal and federal preservation laws and provides technical support in cultural resource preservation to tribal members.
